Massoliveri Beach
From the Syracuse side, one of the most beautiful spots for swimming is undoubtedly Punta della Mola. Here rock and tuff coves alternate with thin beaches. The most beautiful is the small of Massoliveri beach named after the lighthouse of the same name.
Sapphire Cove
Cala Zaffiro is shown on maps as varco 27 on Via Degli Zaffiri. Within a rocky inlet is home to a beautiful natural pool where you can snorkel. The seabed is rich in fish and sea urchins and is particularly suitable for diving. Its seabed is home to Rossana Maiorca’s famous sea statue of the Mermaid.
Minaret Beach
Punta Castelluccio also known as Minaret beach is surrounded by a wide reef and is located within a gulf whose waters are very rich in posidonia oceanica, which grows only in pristine marine areas.
La Pillirina: Punta della Mola
Among expanses of dwarf palm trees and crystal clear waters lies Punta della Mola also called the Pillirina, a true paradise on earth consisting of a natural inlet with two beautiful beaches overlooking Ortigia.

Jasmine Beach is a long stretch of white sand also called Marchesa Beach (‘a Marchisa). The crystal clear sea is framed by pine forest and expanses of sand and limestone rocks. This beautiful beach is located a short distance from Syracuse, near the mouth of the Cassibile River.
